My name is Adrian Orange and I write and play songs under the name "Thanksgiving". I hope to write an honest and unpretentious autobiography. I will try to write this according to who I am, and hopefully that will give you an idea of what my music is like. An autobiography seems the truest way to do that, but I wonder if you may find it as only a hint.

I have been playing music that people identified as such for about eight years. I started this band and officially decided on its name about five years ago. Since then I have recorded songs and toured around the countries of the U.S.A. and Canada. I was born in Portland, Oregon on March 20th 1986. I grew up there and with wet feet found the music, climate, people, coffee, doughnuts, and other stuff of the Pacific Northwest to be very inspiring. We have very nice waterfalls, campgrounds, hiking trails, mountains, wind chimes, beaches, birds and infinite other wildlifes I was lucky enough to be able to spend time with growing up, despite living in the city.

Presently, I don't really know anything. But during my travels and home stays I have been excited by love and the idea of a feeling of home everywhere; I try to keep those things with me. As far as music goes, I don't have anything to write. Except I love music.

This band may be defined as songs that I write. Sometimes I collaborate with other people, sometimes not. To those of you who are responsible for giving money and fame, I will be the recipient of what favor you may cast on this band, but a goal of mine is to share those things, and to be open, admitting that everything's shared, whether held tight and locked up or not. No one can keep things from happening, so I won't try. I will try to make good things happen instead. Lastly, systems for measurement of value are not based on truth, except ones that little children make.
